1. What PepBear Is
PepBear is a personal research logging and wellness education tool. It is not a medical device, clinical decision support system, or healthcare service.
2. Not Medical Advice
Nothing in PepBear — including the AI Assistant, metric interpretations, or any in-app content — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All information is for educational and research purposes only.
3. No Doctor-Patient Relationship
Using PepBear does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-patient, or any other healthcare provider relationship between you and PepStar LLC or any AI system within the app.
4. Research Chemicals Disclosure
Some compounds users log are not approved by the FDA for human use and are sold for research purposes only. PepBear does not source, recommend, or endorse any compound. You are solely responsible for what you log and any decisions you make based on your tracked data.
5. You Assume All Risk
You acknowledge that peptides, supplements, and experimental compounds carry unknown risks. You assume sole and full responsibility for any health decisions you make, regardless of information surfaced by the app. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider before starting, changing, or stopping any protocol — especially if you have existing medical conditions or take prescription medications.
6. Age Requirement
You must be 18 years of age or older to use PepBear.
7. Your Data
You own your logged data. We do not sell it. See the PepBear Privacy Policy for full details on how data is stored and used.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PepStar LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, liability, or expense (including attorney’s fees) arising from your use of PepBear or any health decision made based on information within the app.
9. Limitation of Liability
PepStar LLC is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of PepBear, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. When we do, we bump the version number above and existing users are asked to re-accept in-app. Continued use after acceptance constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
