Privacy Policy — The Chase

What We Collect

The Chase collects the minimum data needed to run a shared couples connection game between two people:

Email address — used to create and authenticate your account
Your name and bear selection — displayed to your partner within the app
Relationship stage and shared activities — used to personalize daily challenges and AI coaching
Vault items — messages, dares, compliments, and fantasies you write and drop into the shared vault
Mission completions and ritual responses — your activity log within the game
Mood selections — how you’re feeling, shared with your partner and used to personalize AI coaching
Push notification token — used to send daily game reminders and partner alerts
Couple code — the short code used to pair two accounts together

We do not collect location, contacts, photos, browsing history, or any data beyond what’s listed above.

How We Store It

All data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use row-level security policies so each account can only access their own couple’s data.

AI Features

The Chase uses AI to power its daily coaching whispers, mission generation, and vault suggestions. When you interact with these features, your relationship stage, mood, and relevant activity context are sent to our AI provider (OpenRouter) for inference. OpenRouter does not use this data to train their models. AI-generated content is displayed in-app and not stored beyond your session.

What We Don’t Do

We do not sell your data to third parties
We do not display advertisements
We do not train AI models on your personal data
We do not share your vault contents, messages, or couple activity with anyone outside your paired couple
We do not collect location, contacts, or device identifiers beyond what’s needed to deliver push notifications

Data Deletion

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email support@pepstarllc.com with the email address on your account. We will delete all associated data within 30 days.
